Principle

In terms of issuing electronic certificates, the Human Resources and Training Department acts as the Registration Authority for government departments.

The Certification Policy sets out the rules for issuing and verifying certificates.

Process for requesting, renewing and cancelling certificates

Requesting an electronic certificate 

To request an electronic certificate, please contact a registration official from the Human Resources and Training Department at the following email address: esign-services-administratifs@gouv.mc

Renewal 

Electronic certificates are valid for three years.

The holder will be alerted by the Registration Authority that the certificate is due to expire. This alert will be sent by email 45, 30 and 15 days before expiry.

The procedure for renewing a certificate is the same as for the initial application.

Cancellation 

The possible reasons for cancelling a certificate are set out in the Certification Policy for Business Certification Authorities, available above.
Requests to cancel certificates must be made as soon as the relevant event becomes known

Certificates can be cancelled as follows:

  • By self-service on line using the cancellation code supplied when the certificate was requested, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • By contacting the Human Resources and Training Department in the case of loss of the cancellation code only. The personal questions you answered on the registration form will be asked in order to identify you
  • In person, with valid proof of identity
