Principle and conditions

A subsidy may be granted for the purchase of a clean or low-emission vehicle:

  • Be new, with the exception of vehicles previously registered as demonstration vehicles for less than a year by a dealer. Proof must be provided (copy of original registration certificate
  • Be registered in Monaco (or owned by a Monegasque resident, as concerns bicycles with a maximum power of 250 W)

Obtaining and completing the form

To get this form, you can either:

Collating the documents

Make sure that you have:

  • The completed form requesting a Government subsidy
  • A copy of the vehicle registration certificate
  • A copy of the invoice for the vehicle
  • Your full bank accounts details (RIB)
  • For electric vehicles, proof of the insured value of the battery or, where appropriate, a copy of the lease agreement and payment schedule
  • In the case of a long-term lease, for all vehicles, a copy of the lease agreement and payment schedule for the vehicle, and for the battery if the vehicle is electric
  • For unregistered bicycles (with a maximum power of 250W), proof of residency in Monaco (a copy of your residence permit, Monegasque identity card or, for companies, an extract from the RCI)

Submitting the application

Send the file, within 6 months following invoicing of the vehicle at the latest (the date of receipt being considered as proof):

  • By email (environnement@gouv.mc )
  • Or by post to the Department of the Environment - 3, avenue de Fontvieille 98000 Monaco

 

You will receive the appropriate subsidy by bank transfer from the Public Treasury within two months.
