Principle and conditions
The single wage allowance is paid, subject to income conditions, to civil servants and other Government officials (who have more than 2 years of seniority):
- Who are affiliated with the State Medical Benefits Office
- Whose spouse collects neither active income nor welfare benefits (unemployment benefits, retirement pensions, disability benefits, etc.)

Preparing an application to the SPME
To apply for the allowance, you must prepare a request on plain paper and submit it to the State Medical Benefits Office (SPME).

Submitting an application
You must send or submit your application to State Medical Benefits Office.
Your application must be accompanied by the following documents:
- A marriage certificate or a family civil status form
- A sworn statement testifying that the spouse does not exercise a revenue producing activity
