Principle and conditions
The Government is offering an SMS and e-mail alert system to warn you of impending major risks or situations that could have an impact on your daily life (such as winds/storms, floods, disasters, etc.,) and inform you of the precautions or measures to take. If a major event occurs, you will receive one or several messages detailing the nature of the risk, and, if relevant, giving safety advice and notifying you of action to be taken.
You can register for alerts related to the following areas:
- Meteorological risks
- Marine pollution
- Technological risks
- Earthquake risks and information
- Health alerts
Registration for this service is free, and, in accordance with the legislation in force, the information provided is strictly controlled and may be used only in the context of this alert system.
