Principle
Elderly people can benefit from reduced bus fares.
Monegasque nationals and residents aged over 60 benefit from free transport on the Principality's urban bus network.
Retirees belonging to the Principality's pensions schemes who are resident in the Principality of Monaco's four neighbouring towns (Beausoleil - Cap d'Ail - Roquebrune - La Turbie) can benefit from half-price passes under the following conditions:
- Aged 65 or over and in receipt of a pension from a Monegasque pensions scheme
- Aged 60 or over an in receipt of a pension from one of the following statutory pensions schemes:
- CHPG - INSTITUTEURS et FORCE PUBLIQUE (Scheme for Teachers and Civil Protection Service workers)
- SMEG - ÉGOUTTIERS et JARDINIERS (Scheme for Sewerage Workers and Gardeners)
- SMA - MONEGO
