Principle and conditions

All foreign residents in Monaco must renew their residence permit on or before the expiry date.

Obtaining and completing the form

To get this form, you can either:

  • Or collect it from the Residents' Section

Getting Ready to Apply

To renew your permit, you should provide the following documents:

  • The two most recent electricity bills relating to your accommodation
  • Proof of income (such as your latest salary slip, authorisation for a particular work activity or a bank reference from a bank in Monaco)
  • A valid passport or ID card
  • If you are not the owner or a tenant of your accommodation:  a Certificate of Accommodation issued by the Monaco Police Department, to be completed by the person providing the accommodation

Submitting the documents

You should take all the documents to the Residents' Section, with the completed form and the supporting documents mentioned above.

 

What to do if your card is lost or stolen

You should provide a statement of loss or theft, addressed to the Monaco Police Department, and take this declaration to the Residents' Section.
