Background and objectives

The partnership established in 2007 between the Department of Employment, through the Youth Employment Unit, and the Monaco Association for Financial Activities  (Association Monégasque des Activités Financières - AMAF) enabled the creation of the first professional training qualification which is unique to the Principality of Monaco.

As a result of this initiative, a Bac +3 level qualification, Monegasque Banking Sector Option, has been developed. The qualification’s curriculum covers the issues faced by Monaco’s banking sector, since part of the course content has been developed by industry professionals themselves. This guarantees that graduates will have a working knowledge of Monaco’s banking environment and will be able to integrate quickly into the labour market.

Conditions and enrolment

The course, which involves a year of work-based training and study (in the form of an apprenticeship contract), is open to anyone who has successfully completed a Bac+2 level course.

Candidates will be selected following a review of enrolment applications. Application packs can be obtained from the Youth Employment Unit. For additional information, please contact the Youth Employment Unit .

The Forum on Sandwich Courses, organised annually (the date of the next Forum can be found on the Calendar ), includes a specific area dedicated to the Bac +3 level qualification, Monegasque Banking Sector Option. Interested candidates may obtain an application pack and submit their application for the next academic year.
